The premise
Most losing bettors aren’t bad at sports. They’re bad at price. They take −115 on a number that’s worth −105, they stake 4% on a coinflip and 1% on an edge, and they never once check where the line closed.
Since 2021 we’ve taught the three things that actually move a season: the number you take, the size you take it at, and the books you take it from. That’s it. That’s the whole job — learnable in a weekend, repeatable for the rest of your life.

Why: Our number is Bills −4. Market opened −1.5 on a backup-QB report that has since been walked back, and the sharper books already moved to −3 while DK sat. We are buying a point and a half of stale line, not a prediction.

Take it. Anything at −2.5 or better is live for the next hour. Below −3 flat, pass — we are not paying to cross the key number.

Why: Both starting centers are active off the injury report and the total never came down. No-vig fair price on the under is roughly −118, so we are getting thirteen cents of value at a number two and a half points off our line.
Why: Half-unit prop off a rebound-rate edge against a small-ball starting five. Line drifted against us before tip, which is the tell that we were on the wrong side of the information — graded a loss and logged as negative CLV, not bad luck.
Cards go out the moment we bet them, with the book named. You are never reading a play that has already been beaten to death.
Nothing is deleted. The results ledger keeps every play, including the half-unit props that go the wrong way.
After a season you should be able to make the same read without us. That’s the point of teaching it instead of just sending it.
The method
They only work in sequence. Sizing before pricing is how good bettors go broke in a good year.
Strip the vig out of the market and find the fair number before you look at any book’s offer. If you can’t state your own line, you don’t have a bet.
Six books minimum, plus an exchange. Half a point on a spread is worth more per season than every hunch you’ll ever have.
Fractional Kelly against your real edge, capped. Wins and losses stop deciding tomorrow’s bet size.
Score every bet against the closing line, not the result. Beat the close consistently and the profit follows on its own schedule.
