This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to get it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Lombardi Bets is a sole proprietorship operated by Tristian in Ontario, Canada. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
01 What we collect
We only collect what you type into the request form. Nothing on this site collects information about you passively.
- First and last name
- Email address
- Mobile number — optional, only if you provide it
- State or province — to confirm eligibility
- Program of interest
- How long you have been betting and starting bankroll range — a range only; we never ask for and never want your account balances, banking details, or sportsbook logins
- Your message, if you write one
- Your age and jurisdiction confirmation
Our website host records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, as part of delivering the page. This is ordinary technical logging and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
02 What we do not do
This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking pixels or advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no third-party tracking on this page as published.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any price, ever. We do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy and the “last updated” date before doing so.
03 Why we collect it
To reply to your request, to work out which program fits you, and to confirm you are eligible to use the Services at all. That is the whole purpose. If you become a member, we use your contact details to deliver what you paid for and to reach you about your account.
Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time — see section 6.
04 Who can see it
Your submission is read by Tristian. It is not shared with other members, sold to lead brokers, or passed to any sportsbook.
Two service providers necessarily handle the data in order to deliver it:
- Netlify — hosts this website and stores form submissions before they reach us. Their servers are located in the United States.
- Microsoft (Outlook) — receives and stores the email notification containing your submission.
Because these providers operate outside Canada, your information may be stored and processed in another country and could be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
05 How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become memberships are deleted within 24 months. Member records are kept for the life of the membership and for seven years afterward, which is the retention period for business and tax records in Canada.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time, and we will unless we are legally required to keep it.
06 Your rights
Under PIPEDA you can, at any time:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete it, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Withdraw consent and stop hearing from us entirely
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you think we have mishandled it
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.
07 Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Access to submissions is limited to Tristian. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not collect payment card details, banking information, or sportsbook credentials through this site, so that category of data is never at risk here.
08 Age
The Services are for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn we have, we delete it immediately. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email us and we will remove it.
09 Changes
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes affecting how we use information you already gave us will be communicated by email.
